One Click Access to your Tutoring Partner with your SSO

At a time when accelerating student learning is more important than ever, teachers and students should be able to spend their valuable time on teaching and learning, not on tasks that could be automated. And as schools and districts incorporate a growing number of online learning tools, it can be challenging to keep track of multiple websites and passwords. That’s why FEV Tutor offers single sign-on (SSO) data integrations – to provide dynamic, scalable student and stakeholder rostering, so that your teachers and students can spend more time on what matters most.

FEV Tutor’s integrated approach offers the ability to integrate into single sign-on platforms like Clever, Classlink, Google (and others) to scale essential stakeholder registration and streamline stakeholder access to the platform. Since FEV Tutor has formal partnerships with these partners, setting up the integration is simple and quick. Additionally, since these platforms update in real-time and FEV Tutor has integrations, the rosters are updated in real-time lockstep with partner updates daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly.

Clever

Clever-LogoSetting up an integration with Clever automates the secure transfer of student rosters to authorized parties (FEV Tutor). This enables continuously updated roster information in learning programs. Clever also offers single sign-on access for students and teachers via the Clever Portal. If a district is looking to utilize this integration, here’s how to set it up:

  1. FEV Tutor locates the district in the Clever Database and reviews accessible information.
  2. District shares any missing information fields during the Program Design Meeting.
  3. FEV Tutor & District discuss existing mapping structure and whether or not we need a customized mapping for implementation.
  4. FEV Tutor & District establish sharing rules to align with the program design.
  5. FEV Tutor invites the district/school partner through Clever.

ClassLink

This enables continuously updated roster information in learning programs. Classlink also offers single sign-on access for students and teachers via the Classlink Launchpad Dashboard. If a district is looking to utilize this integration, FEV Tutor will do the following to set it up:

  1. Locate the district in the Classlink Portal and review accessible information.
  2. Obtain any missing information fields from the district during the Program Design Meeting.
  3. Discuss the district’s existing mapping structure in Classlink and whether or not we need a customized mapping for implementation.
  4. FEV Tutor collaborates internally with our Support Team to sync Classlink data with FEV Tutor rosters and SSO.

For more information on how to activate the ClassLink connection with FEV Tutor and how to connect with the FEV Tutor App, review this resource.

Google

Setting up an integration allows for a basic connection once student information is received. For example, if students are logged into Google, they can automatically Log into FEV Tutor without re-entering login information.

Before launch, a dedicated Academic Success Coach (ASC) will meet with district and school leaders to analyze existing student data, explore core learning environments, and review district initiatives. During this meeting, the ASC will identify & integrate with the district’s SSO platform and collect any missing information to get the program up and running on scale.

Interested in learning about how to integrate your FEV Tutor program with your Canvas LMS as well? This integration can be used to ensure all of your students’ lesson content is aligned directly with Canvas LMS course materials and enables students to quickly share their Course, Unit, Lesson, Assignment when using tutoring. Our district partners will often place a link to the FEV Tutor Login Portal in various locations within their Canvas LMS instance, usually wherever students are likely to seek tutoring support – ex. front dashboard, individual course pages, etc. From there, students will gain access to their FEV Tutor Dashboard using Single Sign On.

FEV Tutor’s ultimate goal is to become a natural extension of each student’s core classroom by integrating into their existing learning environments. We strive to align closely with our partner districts’ academic ecosystem because we know this will have the most meaningful impact on student achievement gains.
